New Staff Additions
Since the beginning of 2008, Crow has added eight new employees to its staff, including three sales staff and five production employees in our busy fabrication and machine shops. These additions will help alleviate backlogs in both departments and will provide better response to the large volume of incoming inquiries and requests. While most existing accounts will remain with their normal contacts, Dave DeHart and Jeff Jennings will work with new prospects and customers and ensure they are getting a quick response. Call Dave (ext. 111) or Jeff (ext 112) with questions or project inquiries.
New Graining and Finishing Equipment for Growing Segment of Business
The past 18-months have seen an increase in the requests for material graining, media blasting, painting and cosmetic finishing of parts. As a result of numerous requests, Crow has acquired several new pieces of equipment and has substantially upgraded its capabilities in these areas. These value-added services complement our diverse range of capabilities and offer customers a competitive alternative to multiple-vendor processing and related shipping costs. Most jobs can be completed totally in-house and don’t require transport to numerous locations, increasing freight costs and potential for product damage. Acquisitions during late 2007 and 2008 include a large-capacity (14’ X 22’) media blasting room, equipment for graining and polishing to a #3, 4, or 5 finish in stainless steel, brass, copper and aluminum up to 118” X 39”, automated deburring equipment for flat and formed parts up to 2 inches high and up to 10 feet in length, a large capacity, high-speed vibratory tank for part deburring and cleaning, plus a large-capacity (12’ X 16’) wet paint booth. The response to these additions has been great and has helped us ensure our customers can have their projects completed turnkey and without disruptions.
